Xiaomi Mi6 Price in Bangladesh & review: What you need to know
Like the OnePlus 5, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is a flagship smartphone at a much lower price. Squeeze the latest and best Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage in a curvilinear chassis with backup of glass, with a double lens camera for a good measure.
The only thing that is missing compared to phones like the Samsung Galaxy S8 is the screen resolution and the size: “only” has a 5.15 inch Full HD screen. Otherwise, this is the flagship smartphone .
Review of Xiaomi Mi6: price and competition
The sticky shutter is tracking one out of Asia. Xiaomi is a Chinese company and they do not seem so interested in launching their smartphones abroad; The Mi 6 is not an exception. You will have to rely on gray import sellers for this, but the price is so reasonable that it may be worth tracking one.
Xiaomi Mi 6 comment: Design
At half the launch price of the Galaxy S8, one would think that Xiaomi would have cut some corners when it came to design. Most of the time, you’re paying for quality, but the Mi 6, like the OnePlus 5, is an exception to that rule.
It does not reinvent the wheel. The Mi 6 is a polished black rectangle, with a soft curved glass back and rounded corners, but it looks as good as the iPhone 7. It is much more pleasant to hold than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium and the compact thinness of 7, 5 mm of Mi 6 is perfect for the pocket.
The only irritation is that Xiaomi has left the 3.5mm headphone jack. It is a strange movement; Apple can afford to challenge the convention a bit, but Xiaomi? At least there is a type C USB adapter included in the box.
Xiaomi Mi6 review: Screen
Xiaomi has not followed the super wide aspect, the high resolution display path like Samsung or LG. Instead, you get a screen of 5.15 in 1920 x 1080. Now, this may seem a bit boring on paper, but look beyond the numbers and you’ll see one of the most attractive screens on such a cheap phone.
The IPS panel in Mi 6 this year is excellent, it presents 99.2% of the sRGB color space according to our X-Rite calibrator, while the perfect contrast ratio of 1.266: 1 does justice to the images captured with the double back of the My 6 cameras (more on that later). A maximum screen brightness of 645 cd / m2 is incredibly suitable for use under the bright sun, with a warning. If you hold the phone horizontally with polarized sunglasses, the screen goes dark.
Xiaomi Mi 6 review: Performance and battery life
Inside, the latest Xiaomi Mi6 mid-range phone comes incredibly well-equipped. The Mi 6 includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, the same chip used in the HTC U11 and the Sony XZ Premium, at a fraction of the price. There is also 6 GB of RAM and a choice of 64 GB or 128 GB of storage, but does not support microSD cards.
As expected, he is an amazing artist. A Geekbench 4 single-core score of 1,923 is on par with all flagships of 2017, including the Galaxy S8, and its multi-core result is just as admirable at 6,729.
Xiaomi Mi6 review: Camera
The Xiaomi Mi6 has two cameras in the back. Instead of offering a secondary monochromatic sensor like the P10, or a wide-angle lens like the LG G6, Xiaomi has followed the same path as OnePlus and Apple, and supplies a second 2X telephoto sensor that works in tandem with the main camera.
There is a small variation between the two. The main sensor is equipped with optical image stabilization and a wide aperture f / 1.8, while the secondary sensor does not allow much light to enter, with a narrower f / 2.6 aperture.
The rear snapper of the Xiaomi Mi 6 is an incredibly versatile performer. In good light, it is excellent, as you can see in the test image below. The foliage of the trees is incredibly well defined, while the reflections of the windows in the neighboring buildings are sharp and detailed. Even brick, a remarkably difficult test, is captured with precision, especially in HDR mode, which in turn lifts shadows and captures a touch more detail of the clouds.
